Dan Siegel was raised in the northern suburbs of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. At the age of 15, Dan was already making and selling ceramic wind chimes in local gift shops. After demonstrating his artistic talent through high school, he went to Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa and received a B.A. degree in Graphic Design and a M.A. in Mass Communications. His artistic talent turned towards photography during his college years, as he spent many enjoyable hours in the Iowa countryside, taking creative pictures. He built his own darkroom and worked as a photo-journalist for several Iowa newspapers. For the past three years Dan was an adjunct Professor at Bryant & Stratton College in Wauwatosa, WI, where he taught various graphic design classes, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Dreamweaver. Dan currently owns his own Graphic Design business, Digidan Images, in Mequon, Wisconsin, where he works from his home studio. He is surrounded by two beautiful acres of flowers and wildlife along the Milwaukee River. Dan is inspired daily with his “natural photo studio”, taking countless pictures that he uses for his Digital Photo Art. Dan's work is a beautiful combination of his wildlife photography and computer graphic design skills. All of the work on this website is For Sale. Digidan Images and Art are available in most standard frame sizes. Prints can be ordered on several kinds of paper, including archival water color and canvas.
